Reminder configuration is primarily stored on your device and app group storage for widgets and companion surfaces.

If you contact support, we may receive your email address and message content.

Location (approximate and precise): collected when location-based reminders are enabled, used for app functionality, and not sold.

App activity (app interactions): collected for analytics to understand feature usage and improve product quality.

App info and performance (crash logs and diagnostics): collected to detect errors, fix bugs, and maintain reliability.

Device or other IDs: collected for analytics, fraud prevention, and advertising-related operations where applicable.

For each category above, data may be processed by our service providers as described in Third-Party Services.

Data is used to deliver reminders, support subscriptions, keep settings in sync across supported surfaces, and improve app stability.

We do not sell personal data.

We do not use your reminder text content for ad targeting.

Notifications are used for reminder delivery.

Location permission is optional and only needed for leaving-home geofence reminders.

You can disable reminder modes and revoke permissions at any time in your device settings.

Basmala uses third-party providers such as Firebase (analytics and crash reporting), Google AdMob (advertising), and RevenueCat (subscription operations).

These providers process data according to their own privacy policies and may act as independent controllers or processors depending on the context.

Data transmitted over networks is encrypted in transit using industry-standard transport security.

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data handled by our services.

On-device reminder configuration remains on your device until you remove it, uninstall the app, or clear app data.

Support and operational records are retained only for as long as needed for support, security, legal compliance, and legitimate business purposes.

You can request access, correction, or deletion of data we control by contacting support.

Because core reminder configuration is local-first, clearing app data or uninstalling the app removes local reminder records from your device.
